Full Job Description

Pennthorpe School are looking to appoint an Assistant Bursar to support our new Bursar and the operational functions of the school. This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated person to play a pivotal role in the continued success of this leading independent school.

Reporting to the Bursar, the Assistant Bursar will support the bursary with the delivery of the school's financial and operational objectives. The successful candidate will have a solid understanding of finance, preferably in a school setting, have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, plus a desire to work in a small but friendly team.

The closing date is Friday 26th July 2024 however we will assess applications as they come in and may withdraw the vacancy if we appoint this post so early application is recommended.
