Full Job Description

This is a fantastic opportunity to support the development of our Home & Stationary product range and help shape the departmental strategy. You will play a key role in assisting the Buyer through every stage of the buying cycle, ensuring Harrods Own Label offers a fresh and elevated product range. Your responsibilities will include: Range Plan Management

  • Assist the Buyer with the critical path management from initial briefing through to the market.
  • Propose new products and categories to keep the Own Label range fresh, innovative, and aligned with current trends.
  • Monitor competitor activity and market trends, providing insights to maximize sales and profitability.
  • New Product Launches
  • Co-ordinate product commitments across buying divisions to ensure timely ordering.
  • Collaborate with the Retail and Visual Merchandising teams to ensure smooth, on-time product launches.
  • Support the planning and execution of range presentations to Directors and stakeholders.
  • Work closely with satellite sites and e-commerce teams to ensure synchronized product launches across all platforms.
  • Reporting & Analysis
  • Collate weekly sales figures and prepare trade meeting reports.
  • Provide feedback on sales performance across satellite sites and Harrods.com.
  • Produce regular reports highlighting product performance and identifying key trends.
  • Vendor & Quality Management
  • Support in vendor communications and the product sealing process, ensuring quality standards are met or exceeded.
  • Manage the critical path for new and seasonal product developments, maintaining a strong focus on quality.
  • Team Support
  • Collaborate closely with the Buyer's Assistant, offering guidance and support in administrative tasks.
  • Play a role in developing the Buyer's Assistant through systems training and knowledge-sharing.

    We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual with strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and ideally SAP. You will possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, enabling you to collaborate effectively with internal and external teams. You should have a proven ability to manage multiple priorities, demonstrating strong organizational skills and a keen attention to detail to ensure accuracy in every task.
