Assistant Buyer - Spirits and Softs

Support the buying team with all buying requirements on sourcing, cost management, supplier (commercial) management and administration of the range.
About the role
In this role, you'll be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and timely communication of cost files and price changes to suppliers, facilitating any annual adjustments to pricing and duties. You'll maintain and update the Purchasing savings tracker and commercial deal records, ensuring precise administration. Collaboration with the marketing team is key to supporting a market-leading product range. You'll also serve as the main point of contact for the Product Data team and depots, manage sales force queries, and handle new supplier and product setups with effective communication across the business.
You'll play a crucial role in supplier relations, acting as the first point of contact for both new and existing suppliers and assisting in supplier negotiations on a long-term basis.

You have a strong understanding of the drinks industry, which would be a valuable asset in this role. Additionally, your previous experience in buying or supplier management gives you an edge, helping you effectively navigate supplier relationships and purchasing processes.
