Full Job Description

The Assistant Care Manager is responsible for ensuring clients receive outstanding care while also contributing to the growth of the business. This role involves working alongside the Care Manager, offering guidance and support to the team, and ensuring that Care Professionals deliver the highest standard of care to clients at all times.,

  • Supporting the Care Manager with day-to-day management of Client care and the team
  • Identifying training needs / follow ups in respect of auditing activity. Making sure actions given to others are completed effectively.
  • Completion of the Service Reviews and Quality Assurance, identifying ways to grow the Business.
  • Helping with Client Acquisition and initial Client set up.
  • Developing good working relationships
  • Onboarding Clients and being responsible for Clients with complex care needs.
  • Provide quality introductions of Care Professionals to Clients, guiding others on best practice.
  • Support with medication, moving and handling, support visits with Care Professionals.
  • Provide care for Clients as required
  • Being part of the On-Call Rota
  • Have a thorough understanding of and belief in the Home Instead business model
  • Maintain and uphold company standards and ethos
  • Ensure compliance with Home Instead's Equality, Diversity and Equal Opportunities Policy, in respect of employment and service delivery.
