Assistant Category Manager

As the assistant Category Manager your main focus will be to provide full support to the Category Team in the day to day running of the business,

• To work cross functionally and with external suppliers on a day-to-day basis to ensure efficient management of the Category. Developing broad based product knowledge to enable rapid resolution of product areas.
• To assist in the collation of information, including product and market data to support Category decision-making.
• To assist the category Team with the management and administration of commercial agreements.
• To assist the product Teams with the planning and implementation of promotional activity and pricing strategies.
• Support the category teams through ongoing monitoring rebates and contributions for product groups on a regular basis, keep accurate records and submit to Finance
  
  Strong IT skills inc Word, Excel, and Powerpoint
• Excellent communication skills within the team, the organisation and with external stakeholders
• Excellent organisation skills
• The ability to be proactive
• Great team working skills and the ability to prioritise work effectively
• The desire to learn about our product ranges
• Excellent, fast-paced and efficient data inputting skills
