Full Job Description

We are seeking to appoint a dedicated and enthusiastic assistant catering manager, responsible for the food production at St Patrick's and Alice Ingham schools. The role requires compliance with HACCP and COSHH regulations and a detailed understanding of food hygiene and safety standards. The post holder will be required to create menus in line with the School Standards and suitable for children with a range of dietary, allergy and sensory needs. As well cooking on a daily basis the post holder will be required to complete paperwork in line with the role and ensure all staff are trained and line managed effectively.

  • Have relevant experience in a senior position within a large scale catering establishment
  • Have experience of training and supervision of staff
  • Be able to communicate in a friendly and caring manner
  • Have a clear understanding of the Catholic faith and be willing to uphold the school's ethos and values
