Assistant Charity Shop Manager (Online Store)

You will be key in the management and development of our two supported employees who come in every Tuesday to pack and post items sold and prepare and list items for sale in our eBay shop. You will play a key part in supporting the Online Shop Manager in the daily running of the shop including listing, taking photographs, researching items for sale, creating engaging social media posts. You will assist the Online shop manager with weekly and monthly tasks including reporting, financial and health & safely processes. You will deputise in the absence of the Online Shop Manager. Currently, the post is one day a week on a Tuesday though there will be opportunities to work additional hours either in the Online Shop or in any of our high street charity shops in Bristol. We have exciting plans for the growth of the Online Shop and are looking for a dynamic person who can help us achieve this.

• An active interest in current trends and fashion.
• Excellent communication skills, you'll be able to support staff with a learning disability.
• Self-motivated, organised and commercially aware.
• An understanding of budgets and profit margins and some customer service experience.
• Experience in retail, cash handling and record keeping.
• Confident with technology you'll have good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to make clear commercial decisions and analyse information.
• Level 2 Maths and English qualifications (or able to demonstrate this capacity through assessment).
• A full driving licence is desirable with access to your own vehicle.
