Full Job Description

To help support the data collection processes for Children and Young Peoples IAPT (CYP-IAPT) within a multi-disciplinary CAMHS service. To assist in clinically related administration, completion of audits, collection of statistics, and development of audit and/or research projects, teaching and project work. There will also be opportunities to undertake clinical work under supervision of a qualified Clinical Psychologist and support the psychological care of clients within the service, across all sectors of care and within the overall framework of the team's policies and procedures.,

  • To undertake protocol based psychological assessment of young people applying psychological theory, including neuro-psychological tests, self-report measures, rating scales, direct scales, direct and indirect structured observations and semi-structured interviews with clients, family members and others involved in the client's care.
  • To assist in the formulation of young people's needs, under the supervision of a qualified professional psychologist.
  • To assist in the co-ordination and running of therapeutic groups or clinical projects.
  • To work with other staff to contribute to multi-disciplinary discussions or care guidelines as agreed with the clinical psychologist providing supervision.
  • To undertake data collection, data inputting, analysis and the production of reports and summaries, using IT and statistical programmes
  • To create graphs, presentations or charts to collage or summarise data on individual interventions or treatment programmes.
  • To assist in producing visual material or user friendly information for access to services within Bromley.
