An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Clinical Trials Assistant to join the Women's Health Research team at West Middlesex Hospital to deliver The Generation Study., We are a small team who are dedicated to growth and development at the Trust. The Women's Health Research Team deliver studies covering a variety of women's health conditions in both gynaecology, pregnancy and reproductive health. Within the team we support our team members to grow and develop. The cross-site teams approach the studies selected and the delivery of these studies collaboratively. Our key goals are to provide studies which will improve the health of women and their families and to be accessible to all demographics. The trust has undertaken a lot of improvements to ensure that women and their families can access relevant information in a variety of mediums and languages and this is something we are passionate about in the Women's Health Research Team.

Do you want to help us transform the quality of NHS genetic services for neonates? We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Clinical Trials Assistant funded to join our team at West Middlesex Hospital for 15 months. Our team is leading on transformation in patient care by delivering The Generation Study, which is sponsored by Genomics England. The study focuses on screening neonates for approximately 200 rare conditions at birth using umbilical cord blood. Potential participants will be approached during their pregnancy and counselled on the study.

You will be joining an enthusiastic, friendly, motivated multidisciplinary research team working closely with the obstetricians, midwives and other members of the multidisciplinary team. This is an ideal opportunity to contribute to translating research into clinical practice for the benefit of patients.
