Full Job Description

Crowne Plaza Nottingham, with its 17 versatile meeting and events rooms accommodating from 6 to 600 guests, is seeking a talented Assistant Conference & Banqueting Manager to oversee our dynamic events schedule. With a blend of corporate and leisure guests, we cater to everything from private dinners and weddings to major conferences and sporting events, including regular visits from top cricket and football teams. What You'll Do:

  • Assist in managing a variety of events, including corporate conferences, private dinners, weddings, and gala events.
  • Ensure smooth operations across 17 event spaces, handling guest lists ranging from 6 to 600.
  • Work closely with clients to ensure events meet expectations and run efficiently.
  • Coordinate with the kitchen, bar, and housekeeping teams to deliver exceptional service.
  • Support the Conference & Banqueting Manager in managing the team and logistics., A calendar of wellness activities - from healthy lunches to wellbeing walks and pay day treats, not forgetting our annual #HealthyHabits campaign.

    Experience in event management within a hotel or similar environment for at least two years.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Strong leadership abilities to manage a dynamic team.
  • Ability to deliver high-quality service under pressure.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build client relationships.
