Full Job Description
The post holder will provide comprehensive administrative and clerical support to the Cardiff and Vale Health Inclusion Service within the South and East Locality Directorate, to ensure the safe and efficient working of the department.
They will be a key member of the team and responsible for day-to-day line management of the administration team, under the guidance and supervision of the Departmental Operational Manager.
The range of duties may vary and include the use of databases and Vision on a regular basis and assisting in the day-to-day operational requirements of the department.
Main duties of the job
The postholder will provide administration and reception support, which will include, filing of investigation results, preparing and sending out medical correspondence to other services and local GP practices. At all times the postholder will be expected to use discretion, sensitivity and deal with information in a confidential and professional manner.
Manages and prioritises own workload effectively, organises tasks in such a way as to incorporate any additional volume of work.
To monitor mandatory training, keeping up to date records via database.
To produce daily, weekly and monthly report of departmental statistics and prepare them for the Directorate monthly.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
