Assistant Director, Corporate Real Estate Facilities Management (CREFM), Infrastructure & Real Estate

Preparation of the CREFM procurement strategy for a high profile, multi-billion dollar facilities and workplace services transformation programme. Key activities include:

• designing and establishing a new target operating model, including the supply chain and service delivery models;
• supporting 'make or buy' decision-making on facilities and workplace services;
• preparing robust business cases supported by detailed strategic sourcing and category plans, including in-depth analysis of potential service delivery models.
Undertaking a review of international facilities management contracts to identify potential opportunities for improving cost efficiency, quality, or risks and mitigation measures to implement. Procurement of facilities management, real estate or construction project management services internationally (or across the UK for public sector), including:
• negotiating industry-leading facilities management contracts;
• design and delivery of: SLAs, KPIs, practical and realistic specifications, performance management structures, and pricing models;
• designing the supplier engagement process;
• preparing realistic and strategic negotiation plans;
• re-negotiating / re-structuring an existing contract by putting effective controls in place

• A 2:1 degree or experience of working for a major consulting firm in a client facing role, including business development responsibilities;
• Deep category knowledge and experience of service outsourcing best practices;
• Knowledge of facilities management, including an end-to-end procurement of large scale FM or real estate services contracts;
• Strong commercial acumen and market awareness;
• Excellent analytical skills;
• Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to write clear, concise reports;
• Ability to build strong, effective working relationships and manage the project engagement teams;
• Confidence, independence and proactivity; and
• Ability to travel as required.
