Full Job Description
We are looking for an experienced and dedicated professional to take on the role of Assistant Director for Early Help and Safeguarding at Derbyshire County Council. This role is crucial in shaping and delivering services that support children, young people, and their families, ensuring they receive the help they need at the earliest opportunity. You will lead the strategic planning and operational management of Early Help and Safeguarding services, working closely with multi-agency partners.
What You'll Do:
As the Assistant Director, you will be responsible for the strategic oversight and delivery of Early Help and Safeguarding services. You will ensure that services are delivered efficiently and effectively, meeting statutory requirements and regulatory standards. Your role will involve managing resources, developing quality assurance initiatives, and providing expert advice to stakeholders.
You will bring significant senior leadership experience within social care or a related field, with a proven track record of service improvement and strategic planning You will be skilled in strategic planning, data analysis, and financial management. Your leadership style will be inclusive and democratic, fostering a positive and collaborative working environment., + Professional Social Work qualification or equivalent.
