Full Job Description

We are looking to recruit an additional Assistant Donation Centre Manager to support our Donation Centres based on Invincible Road, Farnborough and Dogflud Way, Farnham. As part of the vibrant Donation Centre team, you will support the Donation Centre and Logistics Manager along with a team of loyal volunteers and will assist in the day-to-day operation within the Donation Centre which includes sorting stock, including furniture, in preparation to go to the shops and showroom.

  • Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills with previous customer service experience.
  • Be able to work independently and as part of a busy team.
  • Have previous experience of managing a small team.
  • Have previous experience within a warehouse environment would be an advantage, but full training will be provided.
  • Have some commercial awareness and a desire to drive business forward within their shop.
  • Have a clean UK driving licence.
  • This is a physically demanding role involving the sorting, lifting and moving of donated items, there will also be the occasional need to work with the wider logistics team in the moving of heavy furniture. Flexibility to work both weekdays and weekends is essential.

    Phyllis Tuckwell provides supportive and end of life care for people living with an advanced or terminal illness. Based in Farnham, Camberley and Guildford, we serve a population of 550,000 across West Surrey and North East Hampshire.

    Assistant Donation Centre Manager - Farnborough/Farnham 24 hours per week (worked over 3 days, incl. alternative Saturdays) £14,603 per annum (£24,339 WTE based on 40 hours per week) Holiday cover may be required on additional days throughout the week., In return we offer:
