Full Job Description

You will be responsible to manage and direct the Technical Support Team to provide production, performance, assurance, technical, analytical, and data quality support to the Maintenance Engineering team., The role will require you to monitor asset performance, reliability, productivity and efficiency through the undertaking of technical inspections and investigations. You will review and approve method statements and plans for design work and activities as required. Your experience will enable you to provide technical guidance and support along with the survey and design work of new projects. You will manage the assurance and non-compliance processes within the delivery unit as well as provide local requirements to arrange track monitoring trains and receive outputs. Through the management of the Technical Support team, you will control the development of individuals and the engagement of the team as well as lead the team to achieve business and functional objectives. You'll manage the arrangements for staff safety and competence whilst also undertaking an agreed programme of staff surveillance, work quality, and asset condition checks.
