Full Job Description
London and South East Colleges is looking for an Assistant Estates Officer to support the Estates Operations throughout the College.
As a member of the Estates department, the Assistant Estates Officer will To be part of a team with collective responsibility for all buildings and external areas of the sites in the delivery of all estates service.
The role will undertake or assist in undertaking all relevant activities to deliver estates services in line with our SLA standards, targets and frequencies as highlighted in the job description.
In the absence or the Estates Site(s) Lead Officer, lead, coordinate and manage the delivery of all estates services/activities to achieve full statutory compliance.
You will have experience of boilers and other plant room equipment coupled with knowledge of electrical circuits and distribution systems. You will be skilled in decorating, carpentry and plumbing repairs and maintenance, and have the ability to work in accordance with the College's health and safety procedures.
You will have good literacy and numeracy skills and are able communicate in a calm and professional manner with students, staff and visitors at all level. You will have a Health and Safety Qualification level 2 or be willing to complete this as part of your professional development.
