    Kingfisher Learning Trust is a Multi-Academy Trust which was set up in 2016 and incorporates Kingfisher Special School, Halcyon Way School, Littlemoor Primary School, Blackshaw Lane Primary School, Medlock Valley Primary School and Cromwell Special School in Tameside. The Trust is planning to grow wisely over the next few years, looking to work in partnership with like-minded schools with a similar culture, be they mainstream or special. The special school element of the Trust continues to grow with Halcyon Way now open and pupil numbers continuing to increase. Halcyon Way meets the needs of pupils with severe/moderate learning needs, whilst Kingfisher Special School continues to meet the needs of pupils with severe and complex learning needs.
