Full Job Description

  • Conduct detailed self-billing and invoicing analysis to ensure all sales are charged and paid.
  • System management.
  • Oversee the product's analysis and engineering value to improve value proposition, reduce costs, or enhance overall performance.
  • Manage sales performance.
  • Handle manual invoicing and supplier recharges.
  • Manage overdue accounts.
  • Collaborate with the Financial Controller to prepare forecasted budgets, cash flow, and P&L statements.
  • Perform detailed variance analysis of financial data against budgets, forecasts, and estimates.
  • Ensure accurate and timely submission of reporting requirements, including Magnitude and Excel.
  • Reconcile customer self-billing.
  • Reconcile invoicing for the second customer.
  • Perform month-end closing accruals (stock in transit, shipped not billed) to record sales and protect the company.
  • Assist in internal and external audits.

The ideal candidate will be a part-qualified (AAT/ACCA/CIMA) accounting professional. This is an excellent opportunity for a degree-educated individual, ideally with a few years of experience in a management accounting role, to join a progressive organisation.,
  • Part-qualified (AAT/ACCA/CIMA) accounting professional.
  • Previous experience in the manufacturing/engineering sector is preferred but not essential.
  • Comprehensive understanding of inventory accounting, variance analysis and standard cost management.
  • Strong skills in Excel, including V-Lookups and Pivot tables.
  • Excellent organisation and communication skills.
  • Demonstrable ability to work well both in a team and independently.

    This is a full-time permanent role, working Monday to Thursday 8am 5pm, and Friday 8am 1pm.
  • Office-based role.
  • 25 days of holiday plus bank holidays.
