Full Job Description

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the front desk, concierge, and other guest service areas

  • Address and resolve guest complaints and concerns promptly and effectively

  • Ensure VIP guests receive special attention and personalised services

  • Supervise, motivate, and lead front-of-house staff, including receptionists, concierge, bellhops, and porters

  • Provide ongoing training and development for staff to ensure high service standards

  • Create and manage staff schedules, ensuring adequate coverage during peak times

  • Assist the Front of House Manager in overseeing all front desk activities, including check-in/check-out procedures, reservations, and guest inquiries

    Previous experience as an Assistant Front of House Manager or Reception Manager in a hotel is essential

  • A good working knowledge of Microsoft and knowledge of Reservation Systems (Opera/MARSHA or OnQ)

  • Excellent communication skills with a high standard of written and spoken English.
