Full Job Description

The SFO is a unique law enforcement organisation, both investigating and prosecuting the most serious, complex and highest profile economic crimes. We work closely with our colleagues across the criminal justice and regulatory sectors both here in the UK and abroad to address the growing threat from economic crime and to get justice and compensation for its victims.
Team Background:
The Graphics and EPE Unit is responsible for supporting the SFO’s Operational Divisions and Corporate Services. This includes:
+ Analysing, simplifying and restructuring evidential source material to assist with the production of graphical diagrams throughout the investigation and Trial processes.
+ The representation of complex evidential information in hard copy and simplified animated and interactive graphics, in order to convey a specific message to a targeted audience (including the Judge, Jury and key stakeholders at the SFO)
+ Project managing 3rd party EPE Service Suppliers dealing with the installation and use of technology in the courtroom.
+ Assisting and advising case teams with the creation of digital jury bundles for trial. Including hyperlinked indexes; preparation of evidence and iPad testing.
+ Video conferencing and Real-time transcription services.
+ The creation of internal and external SFO publications and presentations
+ The creation of ED&I promotions
+ Co-Guardians of the SFO’s brand identity alongside our Communication colleagues
+ Maintain a consistent approach to the SFO identity across all platforms ensuring staff are aware of the important of the SFO brand and its meaning
+ Create content for social media channels
+ Assisting the Print Room with the production of printed and scanned materials. Ensuring the final product is presented to a high standard., As as Assistant Graphic Designer you will be responsible for: Supporting Design Leads with the preparation, concept creation and production of graphic jury bundles; corporate publications, PowerPoint presentations and social media content
+ You will be responsible for modifying and revising existing designs to meet client needs, to improve design quality or accessibility issues.
+ Interpreting social media briefs into visually engaging content
+ You will offer input into creative meetings and share ideas
+ Proofread artwork to ensure the unit produces accurate and high-quality products
+ Produce engaging designs across all media
+ Researching and staying up to date on design trends, social media capabilities and best practices to ensure our designs are innovative and effective.
+ You will understand project requirements, collaborate with team members and report back progress to the Design Leads.
+ You will have good admin skills and will be required to update and maintain briefs, filing systems and project records.
+ You will use feedback from other designers to develop your own skills and knowledge, We'll assess you against these behaviours during the selection process:
