This pivotal role will be responsible for ensuring that all pupils, particularly those with special educational needs and those at risk, are supported effectively in their learning and development. You will lead our safeguarding initiatives, ensuring that our school remains a safe and welcoming environment for all.,

  • Leadership in Inclusion: Champion inclusive practises across the school to ensure that all pupils, regardless of their background or needs, have equal access to high-quality education.
  • Safeguarding Oversight: Take lead responsibility for safeguarding and child protection, ensuring compliance with statutory guidance and best practises.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with staff, parents, and external agencies to support the well-being and educational outcomes of pupils with additional needs.
  • Training and Development: Provide training and support to staff on safeguarding and inclusion practises, fostering a culture of awareness and responsiveness.
  • Monitoring and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of safeguarding concerns and interventions, ensuring that all actions are documented and communicated effectively., Supportive Environment: Work within a collaborative and supportive team dedicated to continuous improvement and professional development.
  • Impactful Role: Play a crucial role in shaping the educational experience and outcomes for all pupils.
  • Community Focus: Be part of a school that values community engagement and strives to make a positive impact on the lives of its pupils and families.

    Hold a relevant qualification in education or a related field.
  • Have a strong understanding of inclusion practises and safeguarding legislation.
  • Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Are passionate about making a difference in the lives of children and their families.
  • Have experience working with pupils with special educational needs and/or in safeguarding roles.
