With a group of highly qualified and experienced specialist educators, LHS prioritises students in all its decisions and ensures a safe and caring environment. We are seeking an Assistant Head Teacher to support the strategic leadership of the school, a leader who will challenge, inspire and drive school improvement to achieve the best outcomes for students. The successful candidate will be a highly organised, caring and skilled practitioner who will support the Head Teacher in actively promoting the vison and ethos in every aspect of school life. This is the ideal opportunity for someone who is forward thinking, innovative in leadership and displays a passion for education, learning and well-being. Specific areas of responsibility will be agreed with the successful applicant. You will:

  • To take a lead role, working closely with the senior leadership team and other leading practitioners in developing, implementing and evaluating policies and practice that lead to school improvement.
  • Undertake research into best practice in other schools
