Assistant Headteacher

The Assistant Headteacher will take lead for the whole school responsibility for Teaching & Learning ensuring the best possible curriculum offer, provision, well-being, progress and achievement for all pupils through careful monitoring and holding staff to account for the progress their pupils make., As part of their Teaching Responsibilities, they will take a creative approach to teaching pupils according to their educational needs, ensuring delivery of the school curriculum in a way that maximises pupil's achievement and ability to develop, supported by the school and Outcomes First Group's national support team. The Assistant Headteacher will be a subject specialist in either Maths, English or Science.

• Experience of Ofsted framework and inspection
• Experience of working with pupils/young people with SEMH
• Experience of managing staff
• Experience of leading one or more curriculum areas
• Ability to motivate a team and individuals
• Excellent organisation and time management skills
• Excellent knowledge of safeguarding procedures
• Excellent communication skills, verbal and written, QTS or QTLS
• Nationally Recognised Degree
• NPQ or working towards

The school will have capacity for 34 pupils ages 5-16 years old and is due to open April 2025. The school will be a co-educational provision for pupils with complex needs including SEMH.
