Full Job Description

As an Assistant Headteacher, you will play a pivotal leadership role, supporting the Headteacher and Deputy Headteacher to ensure the highest standards of education and fostering a positive, inclusive learning environment. Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading school improvement initiatives and driving high-quality teaching and learning.
  • Overseeing Curriculum, Assessment, and Data Analysis, while taking class responsibility (KS1 or KS2).
  • Ensuring high-quality education for all pupils, supporting their progress and achievement.
  • Assisting in the strategic leadership and implementation of policies relating to curriculum, data, and assessment.
  • Contributing to school activities, such as INSET, staff meetings, and parental engagement events.
