Full Job Description

We are seeking to appoint an outstanding Assistant Headteacher, who will share our determination to transform the life chances of our students. Queensbridge School is an 11 - 16 comprehensive, friendly and oversubscribed all-ability Foundation School. This is reflected in our outcomes for students which are consistently well above the national average. Specific areas of responsibility within the role:

  • assessment: lead whole school assessment strategies and data reporting
  • examinations: oversee the examinations process for year 11
  • year 11 outcomes: monitor performance, implement intervention strategies, and work with middle leaders to ensure the best outcome for students
  • options process: lead on the year 9 options, ensuring curriculum needs are met and providing information for informed decisions

  • have a proven track record of successful leadership at middle or whole school level, with personal skills that align with a positive and committed team
