Assistant Headteacher Grove Academy - the first all-through school in Slough Required March 2024 - maternity cover Salary: Leadership We offer continuous provision from Reception through Primary and Secondary. This is a unique opportunity for forward-thinking educators to contribute and create a powerful, coherent and inspiring learning environment for our inclusive and diverse community. We are seeking to appoint an experienced Assistant Headteacher whose leadership, expertise and vision will drive our growing school. We seek individuals who are able to contribute across the whole school when required. You will be committed to a coherent approach to the development of skills, aptitudes, attainment, and achievement enabling our children and young people to develop as active citizens and future leaders. We have moved to our impressive new building and are excited to be fully resourced for a rich and broad curriculum. Grove Academy was delighted to join SEBMAT as a new multi-academy trust member on 1st September and we are excited for our future. The successful candidate will:

  • Have children and young people at the heart of their practice
  • Be familiar with the components of Quality First Teaching
  • Be able to lead by example both in the classroom and broader aspects of school life
  • · Be effective at designing and implementing strategies and systems, both academic and pastoral
  • Be effective at supporting and developing middle leaders and other colleagues
  • Be relentless in pursuit of high standards
  • Be able to monitor and analyse performance and plan effectively for progress
  • Be open and able to work with various partners including those within the Trust, Slough Local Authority and the Governors
  • Be committed to curriculum development to support 21st Century learning
