    The role will involve leadership of the policy and practice of behaviour strategies across the whole school. You will need an understanding of the complexities of pupils with SEND, communication and sensory processing difficulties. The role involves strategic action planning, training others, monitoring data, analysing patterns, problem solving and evaluating outcomes. Most of our pupils have communication, language, social interaction and severe learning difficulties associated with the ASC spectrum, so knowledge of this is essential to the role., We need an experienced SEND practitioner who has some experience of middle leadership, curriculum development, evidence-based action planning and implementation strategies. There will be a 0.8 teaching commitment, which may be flexible, depending upon whole school requirements. As a school we are committed to staff development, succession planning and person wellbeing.
