Are you passionate about aligning technology with business strategy? Join Howden as an Assistant Information Systems Business Partner and play a key role in crafting our technology landscape. In this multifaceted hybrid role, you'll collaborate with both our Group IT and Business teams to ensure technology solutions support Howden's strategic goals. You'll spend at least three days a week in our spectacular London offices, working with talented professionals who are as dedicated as you are to making a real impact. Role Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the vital link between the Business Systems team and various business units at Howden, ensuring flawless communication and alignment.
  • Engage in discussions with key stakeholders to deeply understand their business objectives, challenges, and technology needs.
  • Collaborate with end users and managers to map out processes and translate them into actionable technology solutions.
  • Actively supply to project meetings, ensuring transparency on objectives, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Take ownership of business systems projects, ensuring that tasks are completed on time and to a high standard.
  • Work with multi-functional teams to integrate Business Systems efficiently into ongoing initiatives.
  • Supervise the full lifecycle of Business Systems projects, from initiation through to completion and transition into Business-as-Usual (BAU).
  • Generate detailed monthly reports that supervise progress, key landmarks, potential risks, and upcoming activities for active projects.
  • Present project updates during team meetings, clearly presenting progress and next steps.

    Proven experience in taking ownership of project tasks and driving them to successful completion.
  • A proven track record of leading customer relationships optimally and communicating across complementary teams.
  • Familiarity with policy administration systems or similar insurance software technologies (preferred but not crucial).
  • Experience within the London Insurance Market (helpful).
  • Strong IT skills, with the ability to apply technology in a business context
