Full Job Description
- Work with Facility Manager to plan operational activities on a busy landfill site
- Control and utilise plant, personnel and resources to ensure efficient and complaint disposal operations
- Work with the Sales and Management team to develop and maintain quality relations with customers and prospects to ensure the Company's image, reputation and achievements are represented to maximum effect and to secure appropriate new business to ensure growth targets are met
- Work to ensure operational costs are consistent with those set out in budget
- Develop, control and monitor budgets in the assigned areas to ensure all activities are carried out within budget
- Assist in the review and improvement of direct reports performance
- Assist in the Recruitment, Management and Development of the team to maximise attendance, capability and potential

Previous Experience of managing in the waste industry preferably within landfill and/or hazardous waste - Appropriate COTC, or desire to work towards one
- Environmental / Science free or equivalent
- Experience gained in managing financial aspects of Landfill Management
- Current driving licence is essential for this position
