Full Job Description

The Assistant Management Accountant is accountable for assisting with the end to end accounting and compliance processes associated with the CUK Accounting Team and ensuring that prime entries are accurately accounted for and controlled. This role will also provide ad-hoc technical accounting advice and project support as required, as well as supporting initiatives to streamline or automate processes to drive out inefficiencies and improve processes & performance. This pivotal role will involve:

  • Accountability for assigned month end accounting processes, including journal and balance sheet reconciliation preparation and scrutiny
  • Ensuring accurate financial information is prepared to the required deadlines and with due care and attention
  • Providing adequate insight to the drivers of accounting performance to enable Finance Business Partner teams and internal business customers to understand and control their areas of accountability
  • Subject matter expert (SME) on cross functional projects to enable the improvement, development, successful implementation, and business as usual (BAU) delivery of changes
  • This role is positioned at CUK10 level within our organization and is available on a full-time, 12months FTC basis. We offer hybrid work including up to two days from home.

  • Either a relevant degree or experience of working in a finance environment
  • Advanced excel skills and or/a good level of application and system knowledge, including Oracle financial software, would be advantageous
