Full Job Description

  • Under the leadership of the Restaurant General Manager, you will manage the daily operations and staff of a Wendy's restaurant

  • Focus specifically on staffing, training, and scheduling, all of which will help build and retain a 5-star team

  • Identify talent and empower your team to grow by providing coaching & development

  • Use effective scheduling to ensure your team is the right place at the right time

  • Be the face of the restaurant to new hires, and crew members'

  • This one's a no-brainer : you're key to increasing store sales and profit goals.

  • Support the General Manager in the day-to-day management of the business, both Front of House and Back of House

  • Support with local marketing opportunities to drive sales and the presence of your restaurant in your local area

  • Ensuring compliance with all Company policies and procedures.

  • Help in building a passionate, engaged team that provide a great guest experience and can support with future new site opening, Manage and supervise Supervisors, Shift Leaders, and Team Members

  • Support the General Manager to oversee all day-to-day restaurant operations to ensure all Company standards are adhered to

  • Support the delivery of all key training with the General Manager and identifying training needs and capability gaps within the team

  • Ensure that all audit requirements are adhered to, including Health and Safety, Food Audits, Stock take, EHO and Financial Audits

  • Build and maintain an efficient team of employees, driving the team towards the business objectives

  • Support the manager to control costs without compromising standards and the Wendy's guest experience, through weekly and daily line checks

  • Working in Back of House helping and training the team during peak times

  • Comply with all legislative and Company Food Hygiene and Health & Safety requirements and help promote a positive safety culture throughout the business


  • You're willing and able to :

    Travel to other locations (restaurants, area office, etc.) as needed.

  • Experience leading people, even better if you did it in a food service environment.

  • 1 year of line operations experience; with demonstrated ability to lead and manage operations in a fast-paced environment.

  • 1 year of management experience

  • Flexibility to work 44-hour work weeks must be available all-day parts and days of the week.

  • Annual Salary between £27,500-£29,500 per year (Base Salary + Bonus OTE)
