Full Job Description

We're seeking a talented individual to join our Corporate Tax Compliance Team in Newcastle, which is responsible for provide tax compliance services for a wide range of business clients. Do you want to join a supportive, forward thinking close knit team with compliance focus?. This role can be based out of either our Newcastle or Manchester offices which are both city centre based. This growing and developing team will offer plenty of progression opportunities and flexibility for part time if required. As Assistant Manager in your responsibilities will include among others

  • Compliance focused work ensuring procedures processes are followed taking account of institute and HMRC guidance.
  • Esuring department billing and recovery targets are met
  • Staff management and development including appraisals and monitoring staff performance.
  • Training and mentoring junior staff.
  • Give exceptional client service and be responsible for maintaining regular contact with client team

    To be successful in this role, you should
  • Significant corporate tax experience gained within the professional services environment
  • Demonstrable technical compliance skills
  • Demonstrable experience of managing people
  • Strong IT skills, Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CA) and/or tax advisor (CTA) or international equivalent.
