We are seeking a highly competent and compassionate Assistant Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of one of our Internally Provided Housing with Care schemes., As Assistant Manager, you will:

  • Lead and develop a dedicated staff team to deliver high-quality care and support.
  • Ensure compliance with Care Quality Commission (CQC) Key Lines of Enquiry (KLOEs) while continually seeking ways to improve the quality of life for the people we support.
  • Oversee budget management, recruitment, and adherence to HR policies and procedures.
  • Work collaboratively with sister schemes, providing guidance and support in the absence of their Assistant Manager.
  • Be part of the on-call management rota, supporting services for Older Adults, Dementia, and Reablement.
  • This is a critical leadership role where your efforts will directly impact both the service's operational excellence and the well-being of those in our care. This post is exempted under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and as such appointment to this post will be conditional upon the receipt of a satisfactory response to a check of police records via Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS).

  • Proven Experience: At least 5 years of frontline management experience in a social care setting, with a sound understanding of CQC regulations and standards.
  • Strong Organisational Skills: The ability to manage competing priorities and handle conflicting demands.
  • Development Focus: A passion for creating an open and transparent culture that supports learning and the development of both the staff team and the service.
