Full Job Description

We are recruiting for an Assistant Manager to join our friendly, independent village pub group, at The Dusty Miller, Harlow. The ideal candidate will be :

Friendly and confident

  • Motivated to ensure the smooth running of shifts

  • Possess the ability to communicate concisely a with colleagues and customers alike

  • Someone who genuinely enjoys working in the hospitality industry


    • Your role will involve(but not be limited to) :
  • working alongside the head chef and general manager to help build the business

  • opening and closing the site

  • running the site in the absence of the GM

  • stock and cash control

  • ordering and stock taking

  • managing and motivating the team

  • identifying opportunities to drive sales and acting on them

  • function management

  • ensuring the team deliver fantastic service at all times
