Assistant Network Planning Manager

Here at Metroline Manchester we are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Network Planning Manager to join our Service Delivery team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the planning and development of our bus services in Greater Manchester as we join the Bee Network. This role requires a blend of analytical skills, strategic thinking, and a passion for improving bus travel.,

• Conduct detailed analysis of current routes and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
• Support the design, scheduling and rostering of modifications to existing services.
• Prepare regular reports on network performance, highlighting key trends and insights.
• Collaborate with external stakeholders, including TfGM, local authorities and community groups, to ensure alignment with Bee Network goals.
• Work closely with Unite representatives and depot management teams to improve rosters and schedules.
• Demonstrate strong leadership qualities, inspiring and motivating the team to achieve their best.

  Must have previous experience in a similar role within the industry (Schedules Compiler, Roster Compiler) using scheduling software. (Hastus Scheduling - desirable).
• Must have knowledge of the Driving Hours Regulations.
