We are recruiting for a Junior Operations Manager in London. Reporting to the Business Operations Manager, you will be a supportive force for the Head of the Public Inquiries and Public Law (PIPL) team and our senior leadership team, leading on the liaison with TLT's Business Development and Communications teams, project management and providing support on strategy implementation. The ideal candidate will be a proactive problem solver with exceptional communication skills and meticulous attention for detail. They will enjoy working in a fast paced and dynamic working environment and in a variety of different areas.. You will be responsible for providing comprehensive and effective operational support to the PIPL team. In this dynamic position, you will complete a broad range of activities, administrative tasks and projects that enable and facilitate the effective operation of the team, operating with integrity and professionalism at all times. Your Role Will include but not limited to:

  • Working directly with the senior leadership team across Public Inquiries and Public Law in our Commercial Services Group (CSG) to proactively manage the work of the team on a day-to-day basis, including assisting with workload management and the provision of assistance in a discreet, diplomatic and efficient manner.
  • Provide high quality and timely administrative and organisational support, through a broad range of duties including actively managing the team's relationship and liaising with our corporate support teams such as HR, recruitment, business development and marketing and communications .
  • Working closely with the Senior Leadership team to ensure the PIPL strategy is being implemented.
  • Development of a communications grid.
  • Accountable for the development and coordination of internal and external communications, including liaising with the BD&M team for their timely publishing and impact.
  • Ensure the senior leadership team are advised of time-sensitive and priority issues, ensuring appropriate follow-up.
  • On behalf of the Head of PIPL, act as the key role in coordinating and drafting, where appropriate, reports, papers, briefings, and analyse management information for a range of internal and external audiences. Liaise with Partners to ensure they are well prepared when representing the senior team in key meetings with internal and external stakeholders ensuring that TLT is presented well.
  • Liaise with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders including Group Leads, Team Leaders, Partners, HR, Risk and colleagues, to support the PIPL Partners and wider CSG ambitions to ensure key deadlines, actions and milestones are tracked and delivered on time.
  • Identify and implement improvements in business support processes. including the development and management of internal database and folder management of sensitive files and company documents

  • 5+ years of experience in an, operations, project or communications role.
  • Strong organisational and planning skills and an excellent attention to detail with a proven ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently.
  • Highly proficient IT skills, in particular proficiency across the MS Office suite of programmes.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills and an ability to engage with stakeholders throughout the business at all levels of internal stakeholders and external clients.
  • Possess the ability to handle confidential information appropriately and work with discretion.
  • Ability to cope with a wide range of competing demands and changing priorities.
  • Ability to anticipate issues, problem solve and provide practical innovative solutions.
  • A degree in business or related field, or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Experience of producing and maintaining complex source material, information and data.
