Full Job Description

As a Assistant Planner, you'll be working within the project team, supporting them in the London Region across a wide range of projects with values from £5m to £100m. Your day to day will include:

  • Producing & managing fully integrated programmes incorporating all disciplines (i.e. design, commercial, construction) based on output rates & benchmarking, with sufficient time risk allowances, terminal float / buffer to contractual completions and agreement with trade packages
  • Reviewing subcontractor programme / logistics information including their compliance with contract conditions
  • Promote the wellbeing of your team and ensure that an inclusive workplace where diversity of thought, backgrounds and experience is actively encouraged and achieved.
  • Developing information for tender settlements including benchmarking
  • Input to weekly / fortnightly project team progress reports and BI dashboard

    Construction planning experience gained within the main contractor environment.
  • Experienced in the use of construction planning techniques and the required planning toolsets
  • An understanding of various forms of tender documents, contract documents and specifications including JCT, NEC or bespoke forms of Construction Contracts
  • Experienced user of planning software ideally Asta Powerproject.
  • Construction related academic qualification (BSc, HNC/D etc.) preferred but not essential
