Full Job Description
As a Assistant Planner, you'll be working within the project team, supporting them in the London Region across a wide range of projects with values from £5m to £100m. Your day to day will include:
- Producing & managing fully integrated programmes incorporating all disciplines (i.e. design, commercial, construction) based on output rates & benchmarking, with sufficient time risk allowances, terminal float / buffer to contractual completions and agreement with trade packages
- Reviewing subcontractor programme / logistics information including their compliance with contract conditions
- Promote the wellbeing of your team and ensure that an inclusive workplace where diversity of thought, backgrounds and experience is actively encouraged and achieved.
- Developing information for tender settlements including benchmarking
- Input to weekly / fortnightly project team progress reports and BI dashboard
Construction planning experience gained within the main contractor environment. - Experienced in the use of construction planning techniques and the required planning toolsets
- An understanding of various forms of tender documents, contract documents and specifications including JCT, NEC or bespoke forms of Construction Contracts
- Experienced user of planning software ideally Asta Powerproject.
- Construction related academic qualification (BSc, HNC/D etc.) preferred but not essential
