Full Job Description
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic Assistant Practitioner to join the Adult Bladder and Bowel Specialist Service. The Adult Bladder and Bowel team are part of Nottingham CityCare Partnerships Adult Services, based at Sherwood Rise Health Centre to provide specialist continence related care to housebound clients within Nottingham City. Incontinence is a pervasive health issue and its impact on the quality of life for clients, their families and carers are widely acknowledged. However, the fact that bladder and bowel symptoms can be an indicator of more serious underlying health conditions, is less recognised meaning every person who experiences bladder and bowel symptoms should have their condition holistically assessed to understand aetiology. You must have a driving license and access to your own transport. The core hours of the service are 08.30 16.30hrs Monday to Friday.
- Interviews will take place 17 December 2024, The successful candidate will complete holistic continence assessments, translate outcomes into individualised management and treatment plans, implement initial care required and evaluate the effectiveness.
