Full Job Description

We are a team of Occupational Therapists and Physiotherapists working closely with the multidisciplinary team to prevent further deterioration in patients' physical functioning and wellbeing. We cover the areas of Chorley, Preston and South Ribble.

Your role will be to support the Occupational Therapist and Physiotherapists within the team at Longridge Community Hospital including undertaking non-complex assessments and carrying out treatment plans under the direction of the therapists.We are looking for a flexible Technical Instructor/ Assistant Practitioner who is able to work across a range of settings and has experience working to support Occupational Therapy and Physiotherapy interventions within rehabilitation and/ or admission avoidance.

The role involves working with patients in their own homes and a variety of community settings including Longridge Hospital . You will require the ability to travel to carry out home visits .

We are looking for a Technical Instructor/ Assistant Practitioner with excellent communication skills and who has the ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team.

This post is subject to an enhanced DBS Disclosure and the successful applicant will be required to pay for their DBS check.
