Full Job Description

We are seeking a high performing, dynamic Assistant Principal to lead on our Curriculum and Ethos strategy at St James Academy. In this key role, the Assistant Principal will lead on a critical aspect of our provision and contribute to the further development and improvement of the academy.

St James Academy is a highly successful academy, clearly evidenced by its recent Ofsted inspection in June 2024 and its sustained strong examination performance. The school's diverse community and aspirant culture make this an inspriational place to work. Our academy achieved above the national average for the progress made by learners and above the average for Dudley. An increasing number of departments have achieved 100% GCSE pass rates, and our ambition is that this should extend to every area as quickly as possible.

As part of her previous work she has driven rapid school improvement, and brings this experience to help strengthen each school's performance.
