Full Job Description

Responsible for supporting the delivery of the IIWG portfolio and new product innovation strategy, ensuring existing and new consumers experience a high level of satisfaction with the National Lottery games, and Good Causes contributions are met, while also protecting participants from harm.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Support with the delivery of the agreed IIWG portfolio and product roadmap, to ensure innovative and appealing games are always available to National Lottery players.

  • Responsible for the end-to-end development and delivery process for allocated games.

  • Own a number of games at any one time, including writing game briefs, creating prize structures, reviewing creative and game builds and writing game procedures/working pages for new game development and existing game optimisation.

  • Work with internal and external game studios, including holding game kick-off calls and providing design and gameplay feedback.

  • Work closely with the Participant Protection, Regulatory Affairs and Legal teams to ensure compliance with all the statutory duties, particularly participant protection.

  • Work cross-functionally with internal departments to gain approval for game procedures, prize structures, clearance of games through the Governance Group and winner processes.

  • Work with the Head of IIWG and IIWG Product Manager to conduct additional consumer research.

  • Deliver assigned tasks for FIC as part transformation plan and report on progress.

  • Work with the Scratchcards team to build synergies in the retail and digital products.

  • Provide support to the two IIWG Product Executives on day-to-day processes.

  • The candidate is expected to be in office 2 days per week (Watford)

    Degree or equivalent.

  • Product management experience within the lottery industry or a relevant product vertical.

  • Demonstrable knowledge and understanding of interactive instant win games, game design and game mechanics.

  • Understanding of research techniques and consumer behaviour, sufficient to brief and interpret research.

  • Demonstrable oral and written communication skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and hit deadlines.

  • Strong attention to detail.

  • Ability to prepare and deliver clear presentations.

  • Experience working with cross functional teams.
