Full Job Description

Providing Project support to the Project Manager in Scotland by assisting with the planning and delivery of projects. This job description Is intended to give the post holder an appreciation of the role envisaged for this position and the range of duties undertaken. Specific tasks and objectives will be agreed with the post holder throughout the period of employment. The job description may be varied from time to time by the Company to reflect changes in the post holder's role and/or the needs of the business., To provide high quality, proactive and efficient Project orientated working support associated with projects/small works in Scotland.Ensure project status information is available through collaborative co-ordination with the wider internal account team and external supply chain.Owning and delivering smaller projects.Assisting with the planning and delivery of larger projects.The preparation and management of documents associated to project delivery.Liaising with multiple stakeholders including Mitie's internal divisions, contractors, suppliers, our client and statutory/legal authorities.Supporting the Account Team when called upon with advice and guidance.Travelling to sites to undertake surveys and deliver reports on project works.

In possession of or willing to work towards additional relevant qualifications: IOSHH Managing Safely; CSCS Skill Card; SMSTSFacilities Operations or Project experience desirable.An understanding of budgeting and planning.A willingness to learn on the job.Customer relationship management skills.Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing.Strong analytical/Excel skills.Ability to work cross-functionally and in a matrixed organization.Flexible approach to working hours.Ability to assimilate large volume of data and summariseAbility to work independently, proactively and with versatility in responding to changing circumstances.Excellent interpersonal, communication and influencing skillsFull/Clean UK Driving LicenseWell organised with excellent time management, ability to work in a pressurised environment
