The Ladywell Unit is a friendly and dynamic psychiatric inpatient unit in busy, diverse Lewisham. The Psychology and Psychotherapy team is small but growing, with lots of plans for service development that will improve the experience of our service users. We are passionate about addressing inequalities in acute mental health care and challenging discrimination in all its forms. While the work is often short-term and time-limited due to the fast-paced nature of acute inpatient admissions, we believe each and every contact with a service user or their family/carer has the potential to improve their experience and outcome.
