The role will include providing coordination to the autism assessment pathway and supporting assessments across the service, liaison with systems around the child/young person to gather information and support formulation, alongside delivery of follow up clinics to families. The role also includes supporting other aspects of the autism assessment pathway which may include developing family resources, teaching materials, facilitating a co-production project and assisting with overall evaluation of the pathway including administration of outcome measures, research and service development. You will also support the Consultant Clinical Psychologist in the overall Paediatric Psychology service.

The post will be fully supported and supervised by Clinical Psychologists. Within MY Psychological Services, we are committed to supporting Assistant Psychologists to develop skills, knowledge and experience to support them in their future careers and provide regular continuing professional development opportunities.

It is an ideal opportunity to further develop specialist skills you need to succeed in your role and progress your career, in an growing service which is developing cross-Trust and multi-agency links., Applicants should ideally have some experience of working in clinical services or in other sectors that support people children and families.

It would be preferable if you are able to drive to support community work. We offer a flexible working approach and there are likely to be opportunities to work from home.
