Assistant Psychologist

The Assistant Psychologist role at Sturt House Hospital provides an opportunity to work with a dedicated team and make a real difference in the lives of vulnerable individuals. You will have the chance to develop specialist skills in assessments, formulations, and evidence-based interventions, under the supervision of the Senior Psychologist. The role involves a range of responsibilities, including contributing to psychological assessments, facilitating interventions, assisting with training and reflective practice, and engaging in service evaluation and research tasks., As an Assistant Psychologist, you will be working with males aged 18 and over in a recovery-focused, rehabilitation unit providing specialist mental health treatment. You will have the opportunity to assist with assessments, formulations, and treatment for service users, under the supervision of the Senior Psychologist. Additionally, you will contribute to clinically related administration, such as conducting audits, collecting statistics, developing research projects, and providing teaching support.
