An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Psychologist to join our Transformation Programme team, supporting the strategic development of projects within Adult Community Mental Health Services., About the Role: You will work closely with the Associate Director of Therapies for Community Adult Services, contributing to the transformation of psychological services within the NHS. Key responsibilities include:

  • Data Collection and Evaluation: Assist in gathering and analysing data to ensure high standards of care.
  • Information Gathering: Develop knowledge of NICE Guidance and national documents to guide service development.
  • Literature Reviews: Conduct reviews and summaries to support evidence-based service creation.

Work closely with senior staff and gain insights into leadership., Assist in the design and implementation of projects related to the transformation of Community Mental Health Services, including the collection and analysis of data to evaluate service effectiveness. Carry out comprehensive literature searches and produce summaries of evidence-based practices to support the development and improvement of psychological interventions within the service. Develop and maintain databases and spreadsheets to track and evaluate service delivery, ensuring data is collected, organised, and analysed effectively for audit and research purposes. Under appropriate supervision, support the delivery of psychological assessments and interventions, contributing to the therapeutic process in line with your level of competence and training. Plan, organise, and co-facilitate psycho-educational groups and workshops with qualified professionals, helping to deliver educational content to service users. Work closely with a range of services, including health, social care, and voluntary agencies, to ensure coordinated and holistic care for service users, while also gathering information to inform service development.

    About You: Proactive, with strong analytical skills and a passion for service improvement. Experience in data collection, literature reviews, and familiarity with NICE guidelines is desirable.
