Assistant Psychologist

This assistant psychologist post is a full time position in Dartford. You will work closely with a fully skilled and highly specialist MDT. You will have the opportunity to support the group programme, collect important data for Dartford and also do a research project., This post would be attractive for somebody who is passionate about young people's mental health and is excited and motivated by the opportunity to develop a centre of excellence. You will be joining a well-established, skilled, multi-disciplinary team, including: nurses, psychiatrist, OT, social workers, CBT therapists and psychotherapists. Our ambitious and innovative clinical model ensures that each young person and their carers receive the care that fits their individual needs.

You will be supported by a dedicated and passionate leadership team and have the opportunity to participate in research, clinical modelling, and service development. You will also work collaboratively with young people, their families and carers, other NELFT professionals, KCC, schools and other partner agencies to deliver outstanding care., NELFT place a great deal of importance on new starters being properly welcomed and inducted into the Trust. All new starters will join the Trust on the first Monday of each month and will undertake a comprehensive induction of up to two weeks which will include mandatory training, systems training and the allocation of equipment. As part of the process new starters will have the opportunity to also meet the executive team, senior managers and attend a number of drop-in sessions focusing on engagement, health and wellbeing and key processes. The induction will be held at our head office in Rainham, Essex.
