Full Job Description
This is an exciting opportunity to join Bromley Road Hospital as an Assistant Psychologist, where you will have the chance to work with a dedicated team and make a real difference in the lives of some of the most vulnerable people in society. You will be contributing to psychological assessments, facilitating interventions, and assisting in the delivery of specialist training and reflective practice for staff. With a focus on evidence-based models of therapeutic intervention, this role offers the opportunity to develop your skills and progress your career within a supportive and values-led environment., As an Assistant Psychologist, you will be working in a rehabilitation service for men and women with enduring mental health issues, complex needs, and complicated addiction problems. Your responsibilities will include contributing to psychological assessments and formulations, facilitating interventions on a 1:1 and/or group basis, assisting in designing and delivering specialist training, and maintaining clinical databases. You will also be involved in service evaluation, research tasks, and clinically relevant audits. This role requires a strong commitment to working with evidence-based models of therapeutic intervention, as well as excellent organizational and communication skills.
