Are you looking to join an exciting and transformative psychological therapies service? NHS Talking Therapies Hampshire are a strong partnership service; comprised of a collaboration between Hampshire and Isle of Wight Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust and Solent Mind. We strive to deliver a high quality, evidence-based, patient-centred therapy service, to the population of Hampshire., We are looking to appoint an Assistant Psychological Therapist to support our Psychological Therapists in the South East. This will include holding a clinical caseload, supporting patients using online therapy platforms as well as facilitating therapeutic groups, under supervision., Undertake protocol based psychological assessment of patients, including psychological outcome measures, self-report measures, rating scales, direct and indirect structured observations and semi-structured interviews with clients, under the supervision of a Psychological Therapist.

Assist in the formulation and delivery of care plans involving the psychological treatment and/or management of a client's problems, under the supervision of a qualified accredited Psychological Therapist, in community settings and remotely.

Assist in the coordination and running of therapeutic groups, in the community and remotely.

Keep therapy records and write regular letters / reports to patients, referrers and other care professionals within stipulated time frames.

Monitor outcomes of assessment using NHSTTH specific measures (or other measures in line with specified research outcomes) and treatments on clinical caseload and keep other professionals involved/informed as appropriate.

Participate in team meetings and in other meetings as required.

Work within Hampshire and Isle of Wight Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust, Psychological Services professional policies and guidelines (with respect to clinical paperwork and liaison with referrers and other staff involved with patients).

Undertake and support audit / research projects, determined by agreed service priorities, under supervision.

Undertake data collection, analysis, the production of reports and summaries, using IT and statistical programmes.

Applicants are required to have an undergraduate degree at 2:1 or above in a relevant subject, such as Psychology or an appropriate equivalent/relevant qualification and be accredited by a professional body such as the BPS or BABCP. Ideally you will have experience working in a mental health setting, with some experience of therapeutic intervention.
