Full Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity for another AP to join our Eating Disorder service. We have a large team focusing on various pathways from home intervention to Arfid. This role is primarily focused on the development and implementation of the Arfid pathway, where you will work with a principal and consultant psychologist to develop this. Job details below. Carry out clinically related administration, conduct service audits, collect various statistics, complex statistical analysis to determine possible improvements and areas for the Service leads to address. Creating and facilitating groups or interventions to young people and their families. To offer and provide low intensity psychological interventions to individuals experiencing mild to moderate mental health difficulties. Providing low intensity psychological interventions under the supervision of a qualified professional psychologist. Working independently according to a plan agreed with a qualified psychologist and within the overall framework of the team's and Trust's policies and procedures.,

  • Responding to referrals made to in an appropriate and timely manner.
  • Creating formats for complex data reports
  • Exporting reports and creating graphs and presentations to a very high standard, often used at senior managerial meetings.
  • Researching workshop materials and subsequently creating workshop presentations
  • Creating leaflets and information booklets to promote the service
  • Ensuring client data is accurately recorded; mistakes corrected and brought to Psychological leads's attention.
  • Carrying out one to one therapeutic interventions: such as Cognitive Behavioural Approaches with guidance, support and advice from a qualified Psychologist.
  • Carrying out one to one therapeutic interventions: assertiveness, confidence building, building self-esteem, anxiety management etc with guidance, support and advice from a qualified Psychologist.
  • Monitoring care pathway movements of clients
  • Creating and maintaining spread sheets to record data not stored by the in house system.
  • Expanding psychological knowledge by reading relevant literature
  • Attending regular supervision sessions with qualified psychologist
  • Creating, recording and monitoring Patient Experience Questionnaires, highlighting any concerns to the Team Leader
  • Carrying out interventions and assessments for young people within the Neurodevelopmental Pathway including the scoring and presentation of data
